Story 1
Ladybug
Our first scenario, “Ladybug, Ladybug, Fly Away Home” finds our agents in Houston, TX, investigating the mysterious suicide of a fellow agent named George Lewiston. This story is our agents’ first time meeting each other, and officially only one agent is read in.
Join FBI Agent Fred Fontaine, DEA Agent Willow Keason, and Professor Dorothy Somerset as they unravel the mystery of George’s death, and his last desperate attempt to save the world.

Episode 1: Blood in the Water
1993. Three different federal investigators show up at a Walmart to look into the suicide of a senior DEA Agent, who’s in disguise. Each with their own agenda.
Episode 2: Ladybug, Ladybug
What seemed, at first, to be a mindless meltdown is revealed by security camera footage to be a well planned kidnapping, and the victim’s serious illness means the clock is ticking. A pastor of a Church and his pamphlet reminds Dorothy of previous research.
Episode 3: Coffee and Conspiracy
The Church’s motives are highly questionable. Fred, Willow and Dorothy talk with a sympathetic detective, who may be onto them. A loose alliance of convenience must be formed before the investigation can begin.
Episode 4: The Lonely Boat
The investigators are first to George Lewiston’s house, where they discover that he left them a trove of new information, and more questions.
Episode 5: Houses Warm and Stark
After the evening's investigation concludes, the cover-up begins. Dorothy has a breakthrough about the ritual. Willow works to tie up the loose ends by working in her personal lab. Fred has a breakfast conversation with the Judge about the case, and about Willow’s intrusion into it.
Episode 6: Falsifying Evidence
Willow covers the tracks of the Conspiracy, and they get inside the police investigation into the kidnapping of Regina Balfour. The Judge pulls up more information about the Balfours and their church, and cautions Fred about Willow getting too involved in their plans.
Episode 7: Elaborate Stories
The agents head to the Church’s compound in search of answers. Churchgoers speak of a past incident, and Sarah Balfour welcomes the trio in her family’s home.
Episode 8: Echoing Lies
The agents confront Reverend Balfour, ruining their relationship with the minister and his congregation. The local ABC Affiliate crew provides some extra gossip. Dorothy and Willow start to seriously ponder going way too far.
Episode 9: Aligning
The hunt for new leads takes the agents to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to learn more about how George stopped the apocalypse from happening three years ago.
Episode 10: Church Service in Reverse
A shocking discovery at the Social Worker’s residence confirms everyone’s worst fears. There is only one sensible option now, and it has nothing to do with finding Regina Balfour.
Episode 12: The Calypso
The agents find themselves in need of a place to hide a body. Willow decides to introduce them to a ‘family’ hotel that is well suited for their purposes.
Episode 13: Fast Cars and Lemonade
The agents lean heavily on their bonds for help after learning of the location of the missing girl.
Episode 14: Hailstorm
The rush to Louisiana is hindered by an “act of god” and one of the agents is chosen to go ahead alone. That Agent, in rural Louisiana, makes a key discovery.
Episode 16: Cold Chicken
When Fred leaves the motel to get everyone some food, he discovers that the Church of the Passover Angel is right on their heels.
Episode 17: Cherry Red Lipstick
Can Regina be saved? Can Fred find his way back in time to stop the arrival of the cult? Desperate measures are employed when everything collapses around the Agents, amidst the arrival of a plague of insects.
Episode 18: The Sickle
The Passover Angel appears. Agents do the unthinkable in an attempt to survive an assault by the cult, a plague of locusts, and their own mental instabilities.
Episode 19: Fly Away Home
What will be the consequences of the decisions the Agents have made? Can they obscure the horrible truths? How do they live with themselves if they do?
Episode 20: Two Tales Told to Dr. Volkova (part 1)
The Home Scenes for our Agents. One works to recover his mind while the other two delve into their own mysteries.
Episode 21: Two Tales Told to Dr. Volkova (part 2)
The Home Scenes for our Agents. Dorothy and Willow pour over the book, a certain somewhat pays Houston a visit, and Fred begins to tell a story.
Story 2
Painting Darkness
Following Ladybug, we take a trip up to Canada, and into the recent past, to join Fred, alongside Eugene Krantz and Arjun Singh in an M-EPIC mission venturing into a remote island in the north of Québec. The agents are informed that another team of agents had gone missing while investigating the island, and they are sent to find out what happened, and try to complete the original team’s mission.
This story dives deep into some of the more abstract unnatural elements from Lovecraft’s mythos, set near a rural company town and the massive caldera lake near by.

Three agents go missing in the midst of an island wilderness in Northern Quebec, and three more agents are sent in to find them.
Episode 2: There’s Nothing
Our agents explore more of the area, and uncovering some disturbing stories, though they must sift the truth from the lies.
Episode 3: Those Who Fish
The Agents take care of business, find a base of operations, plan their next moves, and enjoy some totally normal fish.
Episode 4: Never Go Alone
The agents embark for the Island, and for the first time feel the absolute isolation of that wilderness.
Episode 5: Turn Back Time
Following in the footsteps of the missing, the agents pick up the scent. It just takes a little elbow grease.
Episode 6: Going Deeper
Resigned to the facts, the agents make a plan for climbing deeper into the hilly wilderness to find the missing people.
Episode 8: No Way Home
The agents resolve to push on in the face of a sabotaged vessel, and make a very interesting discovery...
Episode 9: In Between Dreams
Finally in the Alpha Squad camp, the agents take some time to recalibrate, understand their surroundings, and devise a plan of attack, but they are greeted by some interesting dreams...
Episode 10: The Stone House
The agents descend the mountain from their cave and pay a little visit to their friends from Kronos.
Episode 11: Opening the Unseen
The agents meet the crew of Kronos-1, exchange some blows, and learn more about the bizarre plague affecting the island.
Episode 12: The Ashen Maw
The conclusion to Painting Darkness. The M-EPIC agents take the plunge and head into the mouth of darkness itself to confront whatever lies below.
Story 3
Static
After the conclusion of the mysteries of the Canadian wilderness, we rejoin our agents in Houston for a briefing on a strange outbreak of some kind of virus; an idea which infects the world around it. The King in Yellow.
The agents travel to New Orleans, LA to investigate a recent incident at a high school on the East side of town. Students put on a performance of a strange play, and a riot broke out, injuring several people.

Interlude: Welcome Aboard
We rejoin Dorothy, Fred, Willow, and Judge Morrison as secrets are shared, and fish are caught.
Episode 1: Judge and Jury
Dorothy Summerset is summoned by the Judge and offered the lead role in an operation that horrifies the entire team.
Episode 2: The Empty Stage
In the City of New Orleans, the Agents begin their investigation at the high school where the concerning incident took place.
Episode 4: Saturday School
After shaking off the effects of Friday Night, the investigation returns to the High School.
Episode 5: Unremembered
While tracking down their suspects, the Agents are caught off-guard by some unusual responses to their questions.
Episode 6: Missing Persons
The Agents pay a home visit to members of the high school drama club.
Episode 7: Lafayette
A new lead sends the Agents to a possible hiding place of the missing students, as the pieces start to – Have you Seen It?!
Episode 8: Mask Up
Acadia confesses and Dorothy is drawn deeper into the mystery. The Agents return to the DuBois home to continue – Should we wear Masks?!
Episode 9: Illuminated Curtains
Something horrible and wonderful is revealed. The infection spreads to another. Parts of the play are found. Containment does not go smoothly – but it all goes according to My Plan.
Episode 10: Rules Divide Us
One of the teenagers is found, new evidence revealed, and a crisis of conscience sets in. The Protocols force Willow to make a dangerous decision that may – break, the twin suns sink behind the lake.
Episode 11: Backroads and Backdoors
With two targets to deal with, the team splits up. Fred heads out on his own. Dorothy and Willow search for Acadia. We have all laid aside disguise but for you.
Episode 12: The Majestic
Dorothy and Willow get lost in the bizarre backstage of the old theater. Fred finds someone is actually watching him. When one saw the city, one always knew its name.
Episode 13: Old Harold
Willow unravels and the other agents struggle for a fresh lead. As they begin their search anew, they stumble upon a stranger who shows them the way. I tell you this, He will not be mocked!
Episode 14: The Blow Has Fallen
And now it is too late. And shall I tell you where the sin lies? It is yours. You listened to us; and all the same you stay to see The Sign.
Episode 15: Elysian Wells
Song of my soul, my voice is dead. Die thou unsung, as tears unshed. Shall dry and die in Lost Carcosa.
Story 4
Heaven’s Flame
Somewhere on an island off the coast of Scotland a peculiar auction is taking place. Mysterious goods from elsewhere and beyond are purportedly being solid to the highest bitter, attracting industry-leaders, governments, and militaries alike.
We follow an expert in espionage, a ruthless tactician, and a stranger with unbelievable powers as they infiltrate this gathering and try to secure the biggest prize of them all… The Cookbook.

Episode 1: A Fair Trade
Jan Dekkar and David Corbin, both agents of their government in different capacities, are brought together again for an impossible task. They must seek out a dangerous criminal and use him to save the world.
Episode 2: Elevated Espionage
The newly assembled team departs for Scotland, gathering intel on the other guests and formulating their plans. Crawford prepares in his own way.
Episode 3: Outer Ones
Crawford’s preparations bring forth things from beyond. The team make their way to Torsa and bunk in their million-dollar suite.
Episode 4: Among Wolves
The team do their initial groundwork among some of the most dangerous people on the planet. Crawford meets a knowledgeable stranger.
Episode 5: A Simple Choice
The past catches up to Crawford, forcing him to make an unavoidable choice. David digs deeper into the motives of strangers. Crawford searches for answers in his own extreme fashion.
Episode 6: Pre-Cognizance
Crawford sees a possible future. Pieces of the true plot are becoming clear. David and Jan meet with the hostess and try not to tip their hand.
Episode 7: A Sacred Fire
David and Jan continue to gather intelligence about the other guests while Crawford recovers from his weakened state. Crawford is visited by Fate and given a warning. It’s enough to change his course of action, and the course of the entire operation.
Episode 8: Overture in Chaos
Fire erupts. Chaos begins. Plans are set into motion as the race for the prize is set in motion. Crawford finishes a ritual.
Episode 9: Where the Lines Merge
Something horrible is killing everyone in the mansion. Crawford finds himself its prey. Jan and David take prisoners and discover the secrets within the basement.
